striving

Ka’b ibn Ujrah reported: A man passed by the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and the companions of the Messenger of Allah saw his vigor and hard work. They said, “O Messenger of Allah, if only this were done in the path of Allah.” The Prophet said, “If he goes out striving to benefit his small children, then it is in the path of Allah. If he goes out striving to benefit his elderly parents, then it is in the path of Allah. If he is striving in order to suffice himself, then it is in the path of Allah. If he goes out to show off and boast, then it is in the path of Satan.”

Arabs

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There will be a tribulation that will wipe out the Arabs in which those killed on both sides are in the Hellfire. In that time the tongue will be stronger than the sword.

Day of Resurrection

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Religion is very easy and
whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in
that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection
and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength
by worshipping in the mornings, the nights." (See Fath-ul-Bari, Page 102,
Vol 1).

Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 38
Abdullah ibn Amr reported: I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when the sun was rising. The Prophet said, “Allah will bring people on the Day of Resurrection whose light will be like the light of the sun.” Abu Bakr said, “Are we among them, O Messenger of Allah?” The Prophet said, “No, but among you is much goodness. Rather, they are the poor emigrants from different regions in the land.” Then the Prophet said three times, “Blessed are the strangers.” It was said, “Who are the strangers, O Messenger of Allah?” The Prophet said, “They are righteous people among many evil people who disobey them more often than they obey them.”

Tribulation

Hudhaifa reported: We were sitting with Umar ibn Al-Khatab and he said, “Who among you has heard the Messenger of Allah mention tribulation?” Some people said, “We have heard it.” Umar said, “Perhaps it is the unrest a man might experience with his household and neighbor.” They said yes. Umar said, “Such unrest will disappear with prayer, fasting, and charity. Rather, who has heard mention from the Prophet describing a tribulation like the waves of the ocean?” The people were silent and I said I have heard it. Umar said, “You and your father are good men for Allah.” I said I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, “Tribulation will be presented to the hearts of people like a reed mat woven stick by stick and any heart afflicted by them will have a black mark put into it, but any heart that rejects them will have a white mark put into it. Thus there will be two kinds of hearts: one is pure like a white gemstone and it will not be harmed by any tribulation as long as the heavens and earth endure, and the other is black and dusty like a worn-out vessel, neither recognizing good nor rejecting evil, but rather immersed in its desires.”

judgment

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “If you make a judgment, then be just. If you have to kill, then kill in the best manner. Verily, Allah the Exalted is excellent and He loves excellence.
