Bukhari Vol. 3 : No. 591

Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shu'ba (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Allah has forbidden for
you, (1) to be undutiful to your mothers, (2) to bury your daughters alive,
(3) to not to pay the rights of the others (e.g. charity, etc.) and (4) to
beg of men (begging). And Allah has hated for you (1) vain, useless talk,
or that you talk too much about others, (2) to ask too many questions, (in
disputed religious matters) and (3) to waste the wealth (by extravagance).

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

A man came to the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) and said, "I am
often betrayed in bargaining." The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam)
advised him, "When you buy something, say (to the seller), 'No deception.'
" The man used to say so afterwards.

“When Allah intends good for

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, “When Allah intends good for His servant, He hastens the punishment for him in this world; and when Allah intends evil for His servant, He withholds punishment for his sins until he appears on the Day of Resurrection.
In another narration, the Messenger of Allah said, “Verily, with greater rewards from greater trials; and verily, when Allah loves a people He will test them; so whoever is pleased, for him is satisfaction; and whoever is angry, then for him is wrath.
[Sunan At-Tirmidhi, Book of Asceticism, Number 2396, Hasan]
عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِعَبْدِهِ الْخَيْرَ عَجَّلَ لَهُ الْعُقُوبَةَ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَإِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِعَبْدِهِ الشَّرَّ أَمْسَكَ عَنْهُ بِذَنْبِهِ حَتَّى يُوَافِيَ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ عِظَمَ الْجَزَاءِ مَعَ عِظَمِ الْبَلَاءِ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ إِذَا أَحَبَّ قَوْمًا ابْتَلَاهُمْ فَمَنْ رَضِيَ فَلَهُ الرِّضَا وَمَنْ سَخِطَ فَلَهُ السَّخَطُ
قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ

When the Messenger


Anas ibn Malik reported: When the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, arrived in Medina, the Abyssinians began playing, rejoicing at his arrival, and they played with their spears.
[Sunan Abu Dawud, Book of Manners, Number 4923, Sahih]
عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ لَمَّا قَدِمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَدِينَةَ لَعِبَتْ الْحَبَشَةُ لَقُدُومِهِ فَرَحًا بِذَلِكَ لَعِبُوا بِحِرَابِهِمْ
