You have restricted

Abu Huraira reported: A Bedouin entered the Masjid of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم while the Prophet was sitting. He prayed and when finished he said, “O Allah, have mercy on me and Muhammad and no one else.” The Prophet turned to him and said, “You have restricted something that is unrestricted.” It was not long before he was urinating in the Masjid, so the people rushed to him, but the Prophet said, “Pour a bucket – or a tumbler – of water over it.” Then he صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “You have been sent to make things easy, and you were not sent to make things difficult.”

Book of Purification, Chapter: What has been related about urine that touches the ground

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ  دَخَلَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ الْمَسْجِدَ وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَالِسٌ فَصَلَّى فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ ارْحَمْنِي وَمُحَمَّدًا وَلَا تَرْحَمْ مَعَنَا أَحَدًا فَالْتَفَتَ إِلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لَقَدْ تَحَجَّرْتَ وَاسِعًا فَلَمْ يَلْبَثْ أَنْ بَالَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَأَسْرَعَ إِلَيْهِ النَّاسُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَهْرِيقُوا عَلَيْهِ سَجْلًا مِنْ مَاءٍ أَوْ دَلْوًا مِنْ مَاءٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّمَا بُعِثْتُمْ مُيَسِّرِينَ وَلَمْ تُبْعَثُوا مُعَسِّرِينَ

2:97 2:97

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

قُلْ مَن كَانَ عَدُوًّا لِّجِبْرِيلَ فَإِنَّهُ نَزَّلَهُ عَلَىٰ قَلْبِكَ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَهُدًى وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

2:97

Say: Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel-for he brings down the (revelation) to thy heart by Allah´s will, a confirmation of what went before, and guidance and glad tidings for those who believe,-

کہہ دو کہ جو شخص جبرئیل کا دشمن ہو (اس کو غصے میں مر جانا چاہیئے) اس نے تو (یہ کتاب) خدا کے حکم سے تمہارے دل پر نازل کی ہے جو پہلی کتابوں کی تصدیق کرتی ہے، اور ایمان والوں کے لیے ہدایت اور بشارت ہے

Katakanlah: "Barang siapa yang menjadi musuh Jibril, maka Jibril itu telah menurunkannya (Al Quran) ke dalam hatimu dengan seizin Allah; membenarkan apa (kitab-kitab) yang sebelumnya dan menjadi petunjuk serta berita gembira bagi orang-orang yang beriman.

আপনি বলে দিন, যে কেউ জিবরাঈলের শত্রু হয়-যেহেতু তিনি আল্লাহর আদেশে এ কালাম আপনার অন্তরে নাযিল করেছেন, যা সত্যায়নকারী তাদের সম্মুখস্থ কালামের এবং মুমিনদের জন্য পথপ্রদর্শক ও সুসংবাদদাতা।

(آنها می‌گویند: «چون فرشته‌ای که وحی را بر تو نازل می‌کند، جبرئیل است، و ما با جبرئیل دشمن هستیم، به تو ایمان نمی‌آوریم!») بگو: «کسی که دشمن جبرئیل باشد (در حقیقت دشمن خداست) چرا که او به فرمان خدا، قرآن را بر قلب تو نازل کرده است؛ در حالی که کتب آسمانی پیشین را تصدیق می‌کند؛ و هدایت و بشارت است برای مؤمنان.»

Whoever harms others

Abu Sirmah رضى الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “Whoever harms others, then Allah will harm him; and whoever is harsh with others, then Allah will be harsh with him.” [Sunan At-Tirmidhi, Book 25, Number 1940, Grade: Hasan Gharib] عَنْ أَبِي صِرْمَةَ  أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ ضَارَّ ضَارَّ اللَّهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ شَاقَّ شَاقَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ

2:96 2:96

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

وَلَتَجِدَنَّهُمْ أَحْرَصَ النَّاسِ عَلَىٰ حَيَاةٍ وَمِنَ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا ۚ يَوَدُّ أَحَدُهُمْ لَوْ يُعَمَّرُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ وَمَا هُوَ بِمُزَحْزِحِهِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ أَن يُعَمَّرَ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ

2:96

Thou wilt indeed find them, of all people, most greedy of life,-even more than the idolaters: Each one of them wishes He could be given a life of a thousand years: But the grant of such life will not save him from (due) punishment. For Allah sees well all that they do.

بلکہ ان کو تم اور لوگوں سے زندگی کے کہیں حریص دیکھو گے، یہاں تک کہ مشرکوں سے بھی۔ ان میں سے ہر ایک یہی خواہش کرتا ہے کہ کاش وہ ہزار برس جیتا رہے، مگر اتنی لمبی عمر اس کو مل بھی جائے تو اسے عذاب سے تو نہیں چھڑا سکتی۔ اور جو کام یہ کرتے ہیں، خدا ان کو دیکھ رہا ہے

Dan sungguh kamu akan mendapati mereka, manusia yang paling loba kepada kehidupan (di dunia), bahkan (lebih loba lagi) dari orang-orang musyrik. Masing-masing mereka ingin agar diberi umur seribu tahun, padahal umur panjang itu sekali-kali tidak akan menjauhkannya daripada siksa. Allah Maha Mengetahui apa yang mereka kerjakan.

আপনি তাদেরকে জীবনের প্রতি সবার চাইতে, এমনকি মুশরিকদের চাইতেও অধিক লোভী দেখবেন। তাদের প্রত্যেকে কামনা করে, যেন হাজার বছর আয়ু পায়। অথচ এরূপ আয়ু প্রাপ্তি তাদেরকে শাস্তি থেকে রক্ষা করতে পারবে না। আল্লাহ দেখেন যা কিছু তারা করে।

و آنها را حریص‌ترین مردم -حتی حریصتر از مشرکان- بر زندگی (این دنیا، و اندوختن ثروت) خواهی یافت؛ (تا آنجا) که هر یک از آنها آرزو دارد هزار سال عمر به او داده شود! در حالی که این عمر طولانی، او را از کیفر (الهی) باز نخواهد داشت. و خداوند به اعمال آنها بیناست.

greatest Jihad

Abu Sa’id Al-Khadri رضي الله عنه reported: The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “Indeed, from the greatest Jihad is a word of justice in front of a tyrannical ruler.”

[Sunan At-TIrmidhi, Book 31, Number 2174, Grade: Hasan]

عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ  أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنْ أَعْظَمِ الْجِهَادِ كَلِمَةَ عَدْلٍ عِنْدَ سُلْطَانٍ جَائِرٍ

He who makes easy what is difficult

Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “He who relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Judgment. He who makes easy what is difficult, Allah will make it easy for him in the world and the Hereafter. He who conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in the world and the Hereafter. Allah helps the servant so long as he helps his brother. He who travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah will make easy a path to Paradise. A people do not gather together in the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying together, except that tranquility will descend upon them, mercy will cover them, angels will surround them, and Allah will mention them to those with Him. And he who is slow to good deeds will not be hastened by his lineage.”

[Sahih Muslim, Book 35, Number 6518]

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مَنْ نَفَّسَ عَنْ مُؤْمِنٍ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ الدُّنْيَا نَفَّسَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ يَسَّرَ عَلَى مُعْسِرٍ يَسَّرَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ وَمَنْ سَتَرَ مُسْلِمًا سَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ وَاللَّهُ فِي عَوْنِ الْعَبْدِ مَا كَانَ الْعَبْدُ فِي عَوْنِ أَخِيهِ وَمَنْ سَلَكَ طَرِيقًا يَلْتَمِسُ فِيهِ عِلْمًا سَهَّلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ بِهِ طَرِيقًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَمَا اجْتَمَعَ قَوْمٌ فِي بَيْتٍ مِنْ بُيُوتِ اللَّهِ يَتْلُونَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَيَتَدَارَسُونَهُ بَيْنَهُمْ إِلاَّ نَزَلَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّكِينَةُ وَغَشِيَتْهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ وَحَفَّتْهُمُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ وَذَكَرَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِيمَنْ عِنْدَهُ وَمَنْ بَطَّأَ بِهِ عَمَلُهُ لَمْ يُسْرِعْ بِهِ نَسَبُهُ

2:94

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

قُلْ إِن كَانَتْ لَكُمُ الدَّارُ الْآخِرَةُ عِندَ اللَّهِ خَالِصَةً مِّن دُونِ النَّاسِ فَتَمَنَّوُا الْمَوْتَ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ

2:94

Say: "If the last Home, with Allah, be for you specially, and not for anyone else, then seek ye for death, if ye are sincere."

کہہ دو کہ اگر آخرت کا گھر اور لوگوں (یعنی مسلمانوں) کے لیے نہیں اور خدا کے نزدیک تمہارے ہی لیے مخصوص ہے تو اگر سچے ہو تو موت کی آرزو تو کرو

Katakanlah: "Jika kamu (menganggap bahwa) kampung akhirat (surga) itu khusus untukmu di sisi Allah, bukan untuk orang lain, maka inginilah kematian(mu), jika kamu memang benar.

বলে দিন, যদি আখেরাতের বাসস্থান আল্লাহর কাছে একমাত্র তোমাদের জন্যই বরাদ্দ হয়ে থাকে-অন্য লোকদের বাদ দিয়ে, তবে মৃত্যু কামনা কর, যদি সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাক।

بگو: «اگر آن (چنان که مدعی هستید) سرای دیگر در نزد خدا، مخصوص شماست نه سایر مردم، پس آرزوی مرگ کنید اگر راست می‌گویید!»

“By Him in whose Hand is my life,

Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “By Him in whose Hand is my life, if you did not sin Allah would replace you with people who would sin and He would forgive them.”

[Sahih Muslim, Book 37, Number 6622]

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ  قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوْ لَمْ تُذْنِبُوا لَذَهَبَ اللَّهُ بِكُمْ وَلَجَاءَ بِقَوْمٍ يُذْنِبُونَ فَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ اللَّهَ فَيَغْفِرُ لَهُمْ

Aisha رضي الله عنها reported:

Aisha رضي الله عنها reported: She asked the Prophet , “Have you encountered a day harder than the battle of Uhud?” The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم replied, “Your tribes have troubled very much, and the worst was the day of ‘Aqaba when I presented myself to Ibn Abd-Yalail ibn Abd-Kulal and he did not respond to what I intended. So I departed, overwhelmed with excessive sorrow, and I could not relax until I found myself at Qarnath-Tha-alib where I lifted my head towards the sky to see a cloud shading me. I looked up and saw Gabriel in it. He called me saying, “Allah has heard your people’s saying to you and how they have replied. Allah has sent the Angel of the Mountains to you that you may order him to do whatever you wish to these people.” The Angel of the Mountains greeted me, and said, “O Muhammad, order what you wish. If you like, I will let the mountains fall on them.” The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “No, I hope that Allah will bring from their descendants people who will worship Allah alone without associating partners with Him.”

أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَدَّثَتْهُ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم هَلْ أَتَى عَلَيْكَ يَوْمٌ كَانَ أَشَدَّ مِنْ يَوْمِ أُحُدٍ قَالَ ‏”‏ لَقَدْ لَقِيتُ مِنْ قَوْمِكِ مَا لَقِيتُ، وَكَانَ أَشَدُّ مَا لَقِيتُ مِنْهُمْ يَوْمَ الْعَقَبَةِ، إِذْ عَرَضْتُ نَفْسِي عَلَى ابْنِ عَبْدِ يَالِيلَ بْنِ عَبْدِ كُلاَلٍ، فَلَمْ يُجِبْنِي إِلَى مَا أَرَدْتُ، فَانْطَلَقْتُ وَأَنَا مَهْمُومٌ عَلَى وَجْهِي، فَلَمْ أَسْتَفِقْ إِلاَّ وَأَنَا بِقَرْنِ الثَّعَالِبِ، فَرَفَعْتُ رَأْسِي، فَإِذَا أَنَا بِسَحَابَةٍ قَدْ أَظَلَّتْنِي، فَنَظَرْتُ فَإِذَا فِيهَا جِبْرِيلُ فَنَادَانِي فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ سَمِعَ قَوْلَ قَوْمِكَ لَكَ وَمَا رَدُّوا عَلَيْكَ، وَقَدْ بَعَثَ إِلَيْكَ مَلَكَ الْجِبَالِ لِتَأْمُرَهُ بِمَا شِئْتَ فِيهِمْ، فَنَادَانِي مَلَكُ الْجِبَالِ، فَسَلَّمَ عَلَىَّ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ، فَقَالَ ذَلِكَ فِيمَا شِئْتَ، إِنْ شِئْتَ أَنْ أُطْبِقَ عَلَيْهِمِ الأَخْشَبَيْنِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَلْ أَرْجُو أَنْ يُخْرِجَ اللَّهُ مِنْ أَصْلاَبِهِمْ مَنْ يَعْبُدُ اللَّهَ وَحْدَهُ لاَ يُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا ‏‏‏

“O son of Adam

Abu Umamah رضي الله عنه reported: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said, “O son of Adam, indeed it is better for you to spend (in charity) and to withhold is evil for you, although there is no reproach (if you withhold) for necessary living. Begin with your dependents, and the upper hand (that gives) is better than the lower hand (that takes.)”

[Sahih Muslim, Book 5, Number 2256]

أَبَا أُمَامَةَ قَالَ  قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ إِنَّكَ أَنْ تَبْذُلَ الْفَضْلَ خَيْرٌ لَكَ وَأَنْ تُمْسِكَهُ شَرٌّ لَكَ وَلَا تُلَامُ عَلَى كَفَافٍ وَابْدَأْ بِمَنْ تَعُولُ وَالْيَدُ الْعُلْيَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ الْيَدِ السُّفْلَى
