never struck a woman

Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, never struck a woman with his hand and neither a servant, and he never struck anything with his hand except when he was struggling in the cause of Allah; and the Messenger of Allah did not take revenge for anything against himself but if the sacred law of Allah was violated, he would take retribution for the sake of Allah; and the Messenger of Allah was not presented two matters except that he would choose the easier one as long as it was not sinful, but if it was sinful he would be the furthest of the people from it.
[Musnad Ahmad, Number 27658, Sahih]

O Allah, whoever is given

Abdu Rahman ibn Shumasa reported: I came to Aisha to ask her about something. She said, “From which people did you come?” I said, “I am from Egypt.” She said, “What was the behavior of your governor toward you during this war of yours?” I said, “We did not see anything bad from him. If the camel of a man from us died, he would give him another camel. If any one of us lost his slave, he would give him another slave. If anyone was in need of goods, he would provide goods.” She said, “Behold, the treatment given to my brother Muhammad ibn Abu Bakr does not prevent me from telling you what I heard from the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him. He said in this house of mine: O Allah, whoever is given charge over my nation and he is harsh with them, then be harsh with him; and whoever is given charge over my nation and he is gentle with them, then be gentle with him.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, “Once there was a prophet among the prophets who was resting under a tree when an ant stung him, so he ordered that his luggage be taken away and the ant’s dwelling burned with fire. O people, spread peace

Abdullah ibn Salam reported: When the Prophet, peace be upon him, arrived in Medina, the people rushed to him and they said three times, “The Messenger of Allah has come!” I came with the people to see him and when I saw him, I recognized that his face was not the face of a liar. The first thing I heard him say was that he said, “O people, spread peace, feed the poor, uphold family ties, and pray while the people are sleeping; you will enter Paradise.”
